Three days in Buljarica: a flexible suggestion

Day one: the shore and getting to know the place
Walk the route from your accommodation to the beach, choose your stretch of shore and confirm where you will eat. For an evening outing, keep to a simple walk and a return by a familiar route.
Day two: Gradište and nature
Visit Gradište at a confirmed time. Leave the rest of the day for a short look at the hinterland from an accessible public road or a swim, depending on the sea. We do not present this as a marked circular walking route.
Day three: one excursion
Choose Petrovac and Crvena komuna for a shorter cultural outing, or Lake Skadar for a separate full-day plan. Confirm the transfer and return before setting off; there is no need to include both destinations on the same day.

Gradište Monastery
Gradište Monastery is a cultural site on a hill in Buljarica. The complex consists of three churches and monastic quarters. It is first mentioned in written sources in 1305; an earlier founding year given in tourist descriptions is cited as tradition.
First day in Buljarica
Spend your first day in Buljarica getting to know your beach access route, how to get back and where to eat. Include Gradište only if you have time for a separate trip up the hill, without rushing between arrival and swimming.

For a quieter outing, observe the shore and the wetland hinterland of Buljarica from accessible public roads. This is an editorial suggestion for independent observation, with no promise of an organised tour or of any particular species.
Excursion from Buljarica to Petrovac
Petrovac can be a shorter excursion that links the promenade, Kastio and Lazaret with a visit to Crvena komuna. Plan the transfer there and back to Buljarica separately from the visit itself.
Excursion from Buljarica to Lake Skadar
For a day away from the coast, you can arrange a trip to Virpazar and Lake Skadar. The national park offers cruises, kayaking, hiking trails and birdwatching; departures are from the lake, not from Buljarica beach.
