First day in Buljarica

Spend your first day in Buljarica getting to know your beach access route, how to get back and where to eat. Include Gradište only if you have time for a separate trip up the hill, without rushing between arrival and swimming.

Once you have settled in

Walk the actual route to the shore and check where you will park or wait for transport. With children, first choose a part of the beach with a suitable surface and an easy way back.

Beach and a meal

For a simple day, combine swimming with a meal at a venue confirmed to be open. Nazarè is a beachfront bar, while Nobel and Castellamare are separate restaurant options; choose by location and current offer, not by a ranking.

A quieter end to the day

You can save the early evening for a short walk or for Gradište at a confirmed time. Wild Orange requires prior arrangement and is not a plan for an unannounced visit. Save a bigger excursion for a day when you have arranged a transfer.

Buljarica Beach is a long stretch of coast south of Petrovac. TO Budva gives a length of about 2,250 metres: the part towards Petrovac has a sandy surface, while other parts are mostly shingle and rocky. Choosing your access point and stretch of beach matters more than the name of the bay itself.

Gradište Monastery is a cultural site on a hill in Buljarica. The complex consists of three churches and monastic quarters. It is first mentioned in written sources in 1305; an earlier founding year given in tourist descriptions is cited as tradition.
