Walk along the Buljarica shore
The shore is not a landscaped promenade
This suggestion does not assume a continuous paved or lit path. Sand, shingle and uneven sections can slow you down; in the evening, plan to return by a route you know.
View of the hinterland
Behind the beach lies a wetland habitat. You can observe it from accessible public roads, but do not cross fences and do not go into the reeds or over wet ground. Do not feed or disturb wild animals.
Photography and breaks
Choose the morning or early evening for the light and temperature, without any promise of a sunset or an empty beach. For a longer outing, bring water and agree where your group will meet up again. This is not an organised tour or a marked circular route.

Buljarica wetland
The wetland hinterland of Buljarica is part of the bay's natural identity. The Montenegrin Ecologists Society studies its habitats and their protection, including two species of freshwater turtle in a 2025–2026 project.
Nature and birdwatching in Buljarica
For a quieter outing, observe the shore and the wetland hinterland of Buljarica from accessible public roads. This is an editorial suggestion for independent observation, with no promise of an organised tour or of any particular species.
