Bečići is on local routes between Budva and places towards Sveti Stefan and Petrovac. For actually getting there, the nearest stop and access to your accommodation matter more than the place name alone.
The Budva Tourist Organisation’s local information point is useful for current information, registering your stay and guidance on site. Before setting out, check whether it is open at your chosen time.
When choosing accommodation, check which side of the main road you are on, how you actually get down to the sea and how demanding the uphill return is. Distance on a map does not describe steps, slopes or passages.
Accommodation parking, hotel parking and a public space beside the beach are not the same thing. Before arriving, ask for clear confirmation of where you leave your vehicle and whether the space is kept for you.
A car-free stay is practical when your accommodation is well connected to the waterfront and you know the nearest bus stop. Much of your daily plan can be organised around the beach and promenade.
On the first day, get to know your nearest access to the beach and promenade before planning a longer visit along the riviera. You will then know straight away where you are returning and how much time you actually need.
The long beach and promenade make a family day easier, but the most important things are easy access from your accommodation, a section of waterfront suitable for the child that day and the option of a quick break.
You can reach Jaz by car, taxi or the bus route listed by the Tourist Organisation on the Budva–Jaz–Trsteno–Ploče line. For a car-free trip, first arrange your return, then plan how long to stay at the beach.
Before travelling, distinguish accommodation parking from parking beside a beach or restaurant. A space you use as a guest of one establishment is not automatically available for whole-day parking while visiting.
When choosing accommodation at Jaz, the most useful thing is to clarify your daily route: from the entrance to the beach, places to eat and your vehicle. A photograph of a sea view does not show how many slopes or steps there are.
Without a car, choose accommodation according to walking access to the beach and everyday shopping. For a trip to Budva or a neighbouring bathing area, use transport confirmed in advance, rather than relying on a short distance on the map.
Leave the first day for your own section of beach and a light meal. If you want something more active, plan a shorter water bike ride separately from a longer guided SUP/kayak tour that requires experience.
With children, being able to end an outing easily is more important than visiting as many places as possible. Before booking, check access to the accommodation, and choose your beach spot according to the conditions you find that day.
Mega Hipermarket 7 is a larger shop in the Jaz industrial zone, beside the main road near Prijevor. It is useful for a bigger shopping trip on arrival, but it is not a shop right on the beach and you should not automatically plan to walk there.
The Budva Tourist Organisation lists a campsite behind Jaz Beach. As the current reception contact, season and admission conditions have not been confirmed in the reviewed sources, plan camping only after checking directly on site or with a reliable current operator.
The bus station is the town’s main departure point for intercity transport. It is useful for arriving in and leaving Budva, and also as a place to check specific operators and departures.
The local bus departs from Mediteranska Street, from the stop by the roundabout in central Budva, opposite Perla restaurant. For travel to Bečići, Rafailovići, Pržno and Sveti Stefan, follow the vehicle’s clearly marked direction; for taxi journeys, use official ranks and agree the fare in advance for longer routes.
For parking in Budva, first distinguish a marked on-street space from a car park with a barrier. In the centre, you can check Zetafilm and Eksponat; for a parking garage, look at TQ Plaza. These are starting options, not a promise of a free space.
For a walk from Budva towards Bečići, follow the coastal route: Slovenska obala, the end of Slovenska Beach and the connection via Zavala towards the Bečići promenade. The main road is not a substitute for a walking route.
The information office in Mediteranska Street is the central point of the Budva Tourist Organisation for information and administrative tourist services. It is useful when you need orientation, current information or help registering your stay.
The Old Town information office is in the pedestrian zone of the historic centre. It is most practical when you want information about cultural places, events or services in the Budva area during your visit.
The information office beside the Municipality building is one of the Tourist Organisation’s officially listed points in town. It is a good option when you are in Budva’s administrative and business area, away from the Old Town and the waterfront.
