Veliki Pijesak, Dobre Vode

Mostly pebbles, with sandy sections
Veliki Pijesak is the main beach in Dobre Vode, on the coast between Bar and Ulcinj. The Bar Tourism Organisation describes it as mostly pebbly, with sandy sections, and about 380 metres long. Its name does not mean you will find fine sand everywhere.

Choosing a swimming spot

Before putting your things down, check the surface and entry into the water. This coast faces the open sea, so conditions change with the wind and waves. Follow the beach signs and choose a section that suits your family.

Mali Pijesak Beach

Mali Pijesak is a separate beach in the Dobre Vode and Pečurice area, distinct from Veliki Pijesak. Its name appears in documents issued by Montenegro's coastal management authority, Morsko dobro. Before setting out, check the exact access route with your host, especially if you are coming from Veliki Pijesak.
