Budva without a car

Budva

A car-free holiday starts with choosing an address: look at the actual walking route to the waterfront and the places you will visit frequently. For longer journeys, combine walking with local transport.

Places you can link on foot

The Slovenska waterfront, marina and Old Town can form the basis of your stay. You do not need to go to a different swimming spot every day: choose things to do along a route close to your accommodation.

When to use a bus or taxi

For trips towards Bečići, Rafailovići, Pržno and Sveti Stefan, check local bus services. The departure point in the centre is in Mediteranska Street by the roundabout. Check the return departure before you leave; for a taxi, agree on the pickup point and the price of a longer journey.

Suitcases, pushchairs and uphill stretches

A short distance on a map may include steps, an uphill stretch or a busy street. Before booking, ask your host to explain the walking access, and if you are arriving with suitcases, agree on where the vehicle can stop.

Planning a visit to Bečići

Use the coastal walking route when the weather and access conditions allow it. Keep another transport option for the return journey. Look for beaches and other places in Bečići in the Bečići guide, when available, and plan your return time before setting off.
